Hello and a very happy Friday to all you lovely makers, creators and well all round lovely people!Today we bring you fun and frolics at the Teddy Bears picnic of the year. Hosted by Bear grace created by Burman Bears and special guest of honour Tigerlily Makes very own Lily Lamb!
What a flurry of activity the Handmade Boutique was on Tuesday, with preparations for the event of the year... the Burman Bears annual Teddy Bears picnic! Well this picnic was to be like no other picnic, as it was to play host to one very special guests Lily Lamb and Grandma Lily Lamb!
Well what a day, Lily and Grandma Lily had, so many new bears to meet it was such the social event with laughter, fun, games and plenty of food to be had. Lily had fun with all the bears, but she was particularly taken with one or two special characters! Bear Grace was in so much adoration of Lily that she scooped her up and hugged her dearly.

With the first introductions successfully underway it was time to mingle and mingle they did, with all the bears and Lambs keen to chat and play games.
Well one of many great introductions was Lily Lamb and Bloo the Elephant, this pair really hit it off and as Lily said "Oh Bloo don't be blue I will be your friend" and so it was!
After much fun, it was time to leave and what better way to say goodbye to your wonderful hosts than with a friendly kiss to seal the friendship! Come back soon for more picnic stories!

Go Baaaaaaaaa-rmy For Your Very Own Lily
We’re so excited here at Tigerlily Towers!
Whenever we take part in a show, event or pop-up shop we’re asked time
and time again whether Lily is available to buy. Up until now the answer to that question has
always been “sadly, no” but now we can reveal that you too can own your very
own Tigerlily Makes official mascot – Lily Lamb’s Puttin On The Ritz!
Measuring 4.5” x 3.5”, this beautifully needle felted and dressed lamb
is made to order with a current lead time of 2-5 weeks. She is a very special little lady and has been
on quite the felted journey.
First born as a drawing back in 2010, when Tigerlily Makes was created, she was
then digitally brought to life, and by 2011 an undressed version was made and
given away as a prize at the Tigerlily Makes 1st Birthday celebrations. Since
then she has gone from strength to strength with visits to stately home
including Buckingham Palace to visit her right "Royal" relatives and
putting on various outfits to perform her duties.
Lily will be delivered to you boxed with a photo and a certificate of authentication.

Happy New Year from Tigerlily Makes
Well what a festive season we have had, its been a full on time for us again as a family and here at Tigerlily Towers, but now I am back fully charged and raring to go.
So what better way to start the first blog of the year with a Happy New Year message!
2 013 has certainly been a full-on year, with new avenues explored and
many new friends made. Highlights have
included Create & Craft TV (being a
guest presenter was an amazing experience), The Handmade Boutique, a summer of
craft fairs, The Vintage Emporium, card
making, buttons, new online retail opportunities and of course, passing on my
love of all things felt via my training courses and craft kits.
L et’s hope that 2014 is just as exciting. It goes without saying that top of the calendar
for all of us here at Tigerlily Towers is the arrival of my first grand-child,
due in March.

Introducing Princess Lily the Lamb...
Welcome lovli makers and creators and generally lovli people, today I
thought I would share a little something more about me, my name and my
history.
Its all in a name: Lily obviously derives from the flower Lily but also means innocent, graceful, beautiful, loyal, smart, and pure. These are atributes that are required when carrying out my right royal adventures, going about my duties in an honourable and respectful way with grace and dignity
Our family history has been traced back so far to 1833, but it is believed to date back as far as the 16th century with some right royal connections. We will keep you posted as developments arrise. We come from a long line of agricultural workers and miners… so it’s really no surprise to me that we have such strong woolly connections. The family moved to the midlands over 40 years ago to find work in the staffordshire area and fell in love with the county.
So heres a picture of me as I am... a "Herman Teddy Toy" and my alter ego preserved timlessly in digital format, you will see the digitised version of myself on all our kit boxes and co-ordinating marketing. You will also hear from me from time to time as I go about my duties and travels and share news and updates with you from around the country and maybe even further afield!
Well I had better dash mummy is calling so I had better be a good little lamb and get back to my duties. Will be sharing some more adventures very soon. Thank you for visiting and come back soon.
