Lily the Lamb - Lily's Bonnets - Room Decor Wall Art

Very woolly welcomes to our blog post today. we are talking Lily the Lamb room decor/wall art again, though a very different design.

So as with the other room decor in this range, the design has been beautifully transferred onto superior quality papers. Lily's Bonnets has been made in a slightly differentl way, as we are using the whole of the scene to fill the mount area.

This then has a hand cut secondary lamb mounted to it, to give more of a dimensional feel.

I think it would look super cute in any
nursery.

Tea at the Ritz Lily Lamb Cushion

A wonderfully warm and woolly welcome to this another lamby edition of the TM blog. We are bringing you this post with thought of being high up in the mountains where sheep roam and our green land shines!

In short I just wanted to bring you another cushion made up with the another new Lily the Lamb design. This one is called Tea at the Ritz, because Lily loves nothing more than putting on her best frock and taking afternoon tea at The Ritz with her family. Its a feast to behold, beautiful sandwiches a choice of teas and some gorgeous artisan cakes. Mmmm Yum!

This is the larger scale design, which works really well on big cushions, though the final repeat print will be scaled down so that you can get more Lily per inch, so to speak. Take a look at the smaller scale pic at the end of the post.

for now though I will let the fabric do the talking!

Time for Tea & Cake Felt Greetings Card

Welcome, welcome and welcome to the latest slice of the Tigerlily Makes blog.

We are all about cake today, felt cake actually which is great as it is totally calorie and fat free!

As many of you will know I have done this design before, though this time I wanted to add something a little extra and re-invent the design.

The key difference here is that the cake wedge has been stitched directly onto the buff card, I love stitching paper onto card and I think it has given it that something extra. A little more dimension and interest. Its then finished with beautiful flat back pearls and a printed sentiment.

Need we say more about this other than, here it is!

Introducing Pennie Penguin

Welcome to the latest edition of the TM blog, straight from the top of Tigerlily Towers

Today we are introducing one of our newest characters Miss Pennie Penguin.  Miss Pennie Penguin has a loving heart and a calm nature. Her door is always open and there is always a pot of tea on the go and very often a nice slice of cake.

Though it hasn't always been plain sailing for Pennie, as a young fledgling penguin, she very often got teased as she is slightly cross eyed and wears glasses.

Now Pennie is fully grown, she is a protector of all the new fledgling penguins and keeps a careful eye out for any unnecessary teasing.

Pennie is a needle felted sculpture, who has been lovingly created by hand with a single felting needle. Though I can promise you that until Pennies eyes went in, she had not come to life, so please be assured that no harm has come to Pennie during her creation, she will not have felt... if you pardon the pun a thing.

You can make your very own Pennie or other needle felted animals on our felt making days. www.tigerlilymakes.co.uk

So really the only thing left to do is introduce you to our Pennie herself.

Lily Lamb Fabric has arrived

Hello and a very warm and extremely woolly edition of the Tigerlily Makes blog. Its a very exciting time for us here at Lily the Lamb HQ and Tigerlily Towers.

I  have recently taken delivery of the first full fabric lengths with some of the Lily the Lamb designs on them and I can't tell you what a tremendous excitement it is. Lily the Lamb is the much loved and adored mascot for Tigerlily Makes  and has been growing in design and momentum for quite some time now.

So as the designs have grown, so has the number of gorgeous quality products available in the official Lily the Lamb range.

I have initially ordered the fabric to create patterns and finished items to add to the range but as I develop the different Lily Lamb characters more and expand my other designer ranges,  I hope to be bringing you fabric to buy by the meter, half meter and fat quarters for your personal home projects.

I would love to know what your first thoughts are  and will bring you more news when the first range of fabrics has been created.

Without further delay here they are!

Watch this space for some beautiful projects using these adorable designs.
