Good morning to all of you on this very special day, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Royal Couple a very happy day and a very happy life together.  I am just brimming with joy and happiness for the Royal Couple and for our country, this is the dawn of a very special and forward thinking era for our royals and royal heritage.

HRH Prince William &  Miss Catherine Middleton I am so happy for you both and may it long continue as you journey through life together. 

I wish you both happiness and peace and some time to yourselves to enjoy this day.

I will be at home with my family today sharing in the joy of the occasions and feeling incredibly blessed and lucky to be a part of the celebrations.

My love and best wishes to you all and to my family who have always been my rock and my biggest supporters in every aspect of my life.

Well today I thought I would share some recent pictures I took of our amazingly beautiful development, this is the view our lovely felt-makers have been able to experience whilst on their courses and whilst enjoying the sunshine over their alfresco lunches.

Heart of The Country Shopping Village is a truly wonderful place to come and spend the day shopping or felt-making, taking in a leisurely lunch allows you time to browse the many wonderful shops we have here including the much coveted designs that Boutique 11 stock.

Introducing Jo's felt-tastic view from a room!! This is the view from Jo's holiday home on the south coast, the family spend many a happy holiday there watching the the boats bob along on the sea and it is that view that inspired first time maker to create the view from their home.

Fab day making lovely felt bags with old blogging friend and lovely ladies...

Hello lovely makers and creators, well today I am very excited to share with you a lovely lady that I had known via blogging for over a year and finally got to meet!! Yay.  Meet Vicky AKA Blush-Dolly

Vicky is a very talented and inspirational paper crafts designer and designs for the likes of Pink Petticoat and her designs are amazing.  It is through our love of paper crafts that we met and have stayed in touch ever since.

Well on Wednesday 13th April Vicky broke her holiday to come and spend a day felt-making and what a day it was, it was so lovely to be able to spend the day with such a warm and friendly person and share a creative passion with another who is just as passionate as I am about creating and making.

1st Birthday Charity Fundraiser was a feltastic success part TWO!!

So as promised here is the last of the pictures from our felt-tastic charity fundraiser my thanks to Mary pictured at top and Sally for helping support the day.

as you can see there was lots going on as well as an array of fabulous prizes which are still being collected nearly a week on!!

Next event is Newborough Well Dressing and then the fabulous Susan Crawford and her vintage knits.

1st Birthday Charity Fundraiser was a feltastic success part one!!

Well what can I say, we couldn't have picked a better day for our 1st Birthday St Giles Charity Fundraiser, the weather was absolutely glorious and people made the most of enjoying the sunshine.  It was an incredibly full and busy day packed with demo after demo, the lovely Mary from Crazy Mary Crafts did a fabulous creative stitched textiles demo whilst Sally Williams from hug knitting wowed everyone with her lovely knitted eg cosy demonstration. I of course got to do what I love and share demonstrations on my passion felt-making.

We also had the pleasure of fabulous spinning demonstrations by the lovely pat who sat all day amazing passers by.

We raised a fabulous amount of money for the charity and Tigerlily Makes supported the charity further by donating a percentage from the days takings.

everyone enjoyed the complimentary nibbles and the day was rounded off with a champagne and cupcake reception whilst we handed raffle prizes over to new owners.

Thank you to all who volunteered their help and to all the lovely people whom came and supported the charity.
