Hello lovely makers and creators, well today I am very excited to share with you a lovely lady that I had known via blogging for over a year and finally got to meet!! Yay.  Meet Vicky AKA Blush-Dolly

Vicky is a very talented and inspirational paper crafts designer and designs for the likes of Pink Petticoat and her designs are amazing.  It is through our love of paper crafts that we met and have stayed in touch ever since.

Well on Wednesday 13th April Vicky broke her holiday to come and spend a day felt-making and what a day it was, it was so lovely to be able to spend the day with such a warm and friendly person and share a creative passion with another who is just as passionate as I am about creating and making.

1st Birthday Charity Fundraiser

Hi everyone, just a quick reminder that the charity fundraiser is only 2 weeks away and we have loads of amazing prizes for you, so get your tickets whilst you can.  Prizes so far include: 2 hand felted bags from designer Lisa Marie Olson of Tigerlily Makes, Mary Halberts Creative Stitched Wall Hanging, a bountiful hamper of goodies, a decorative sign from Magical Stories, felted accessories, a £20.00 gift voucher by the Creperie and a lovely knitting kit from Sally Williams Hug Knitting.  We are also awaiting confirmation of a fabulous give away of one nights stay in the gorgeous Old Rectory B & B at Broseley

Introducing the fabulously talented  and newbie felt-maker Julia Williams, I think that you will all agree that her bag is absolutely stunning.  Julia's bag is a result of attending 2 Tigerlily Makes courses, the bag and the jewellery course. So with just 2 one day courses Julia has a achieved a completed bag.

My thanks go out to Julia for being such great company and I am sure you and your felt-making are going to go a long way.  I can also share with you that Julia has been doing a lot of felt-making since coming on the courses and Julia's own style and skill is shining through.  This new found talent has been much admired by her friends and family where she has been able to make gifts and sell some of her much coveted felted items.  Lets give a Whoop Whoop to Julia.

Susan Crawford & her stunning vintage knits are coming to Tigerlily Makes.....

Well guess whos coming for an exciting day of workshops meet and greets?  The one and only, extremely talented knitwear designer Susan Crawford is the featured guest designer who will be in the boutique on Sunday 29th May for the whole day.  Susan will be running a half day workshop, details of which will be released at a later date and will be on hand to give you advice and support on knitting topics in general.

Tigerlily Makes will be stocking a wide range of Susan's much coveted kits, patterns, books and her soon to be released yarns.

My thanks to Susan for giving up some of her valuable time to come and do this fabulous day here in the boutique.  Will keep you updated with more details as and when they are finalised.

May Half Term Children's Workshop Felt Finger Puppets

Tigerlily Makes is proud to welcome guest artist Ian Whittle whom is a very talented and experienced artist.  Ian will be running the 4 hour workshop where children can come and make real 100% wool felt finger puppets. Ian has specially designed these adorable finger puppets using only the best of materials from the Tigerlily Makes Felt Boutique.
