Fab day making lovely felt bags with old blogging friend and lovely ladies...

Hello lovely makers and creators, well today I am very excited to share with you a lovely lady that I had known via blogging for over a year and finally got to meet!! Yay.  Meet Vicky AKA Blush-Dolly

Vicky is a very talented and inspirational paper crafts designer and designs for the likes of Pink Petticoat and her designs are amazing.  It is through our love of paper crafts that we met and have stayed in touch ever since.

Well on Wednesday 13th April Vicky broke her holiday to come and spend a day felt-making and what a day it was, it was so lovely to be able to spend the day with such a warm and friendly person and share a creative passion with another who is just as passionate as I am about creating and making.

1st Birthday Charity Fundraiser was a feltastic success part TWO!!

So as promised here is the last of the pictures from our felt-tastic charity fundraiser my thanks to Mary pictured at top and Sally for helping support the day.

as you can see there was lots going on as well as an array of fabulous prizes which are still being collected nearly a week on!!

Next event is Newborough Well Dressing and then the fabulous Susan Crawford and her vintage knits.

1st Birthday Charity Fundraiser was a feltastic success part one!!

Well what can I say, we couldn't have picked a better day for our 1st Birthday St Giles Charity Fundraiser, the weather was absolutely glorious and people made the most of enjoying the sunshine.  It was an incredibly full and busy day packed with demo after demo, the lovely Mary from Crazy Mary Crafts did a fabulous creative stitched textiles demo whilst Sally Williams from hug knitting wowed everyone with her lovely knitted eg cosy demonstration. I of course got to do what I love and share demonstrations on my passion felt-making.

We also had the pleasure of fabulous spinning demonstrations by the lovely pat who sat all day amazing passers by.

We raised a fabulous amount of money for the charity and Tigerlily Makes supported the charity further by donating a percentage from the days takings.

everyone enjoyed the complimentary nibbles and the day was rounded off with a champagne and cupcake reception whilst we handed raffle prizes over to new owners.

Thank you to all who volunteered their help and to all the lovely people whom came and supported the charity.

just a quick reminder to say don't forget our fabulous 1st Birthday Charity fundraiser for St Giles Hospice this Saturday 9th April.  A full fun packed day of free demonstrations including, felt-making, knitting and creative stitched textiles, with glorious raffle prizes including not one but 2 hand felted designer bags by Tigerlily's own designer Lisa Marie Olson, a knitting kit by Hug Knitting, creative stitched textiles prize from Mary Halbert and he much coveted stitched daisy pictures, a hamper and a star prize of a one night free stay (subject to availability at the 5 star award winning guest house The Old Rectory Broseley and more!!
