Heart of The Country Shopping Village is a truly wonderful place to come and spend the day shopping or felt-making, taking in a leisurely lunch allows you time to browse the many wonderful shops we have here including the much coveted designs that Boutique 11 stock.

Stunning Mothers day corsages and cards...

Good morning lovely makers, creators and generally lovely people... today I thought I would share with you the fabulous Mothers Day corsages and Mothers Day greetings cards that were made on Saturdays course. it was a fab day and we had a lovely group, including Sharon and her Husband Lee yes thats right Lee as in male!! it was so lovely to see husband and wife working together as a team and supporting each other and both made stunning corsages.  With such lovely corsages being given away I wanted to make sure that our lovely makers had time to make a little something for themselves. after all that hard work it was nice that they each could get to take away a little something to remember the day by.

Hello lovely makers and creators, well today I am extremely excited to share with you this wonderful creation school girl Beth has made with lovely felt sheets and embellishments that she bought on a recent visit to the felt boutique. The cushion is completely hand stitched and the letters have been hand cut, it was simply a pleasure having Beth visit the boutique who is incredibly passionate about making and no wonder when you can see the end result.

Good morning lovely makers and creators, over the next few days I will be sharing with you some of the lovely makes our newbie felt-makers made on Saturdays bag making course.  Yes I know the above is not a bag but a fabulously co-ordinated hot water bottle cover,  this fabulous make is an example of things you could be making on one of our lovely courses.  You can choose to make either a bag, tea cosy, hot water bottle cover or even a pair of baby booties, you do not need to choose before hand you can simply choose on the day and bring your hot water bottle just in case.

Gemma's hottie cover is just so cute, I love the fresh colours to brighten up cold winter nights, it was a great day and my thanks go out to Gemma for sharing her creation and for being such great company.

Introducing the fabulous makes of Julia H with her multi tonal rose and beads using the Heather Blend available from the Tigerlily Makes shop.

Gina's denim blue delight first time felted bag and rose adornment.....

Well what can I say... two separate felt-making course's (Bag & Jewellery) and one amazing bag.  Well done to Gina who came last week to make the bag whilst having to negotiate feeding times with her young baby and whom came back the following week to make a stunning rose adornment for the bag.  So pleased with the results Gina has now booked a third course and I am looking forward to seeing Gina and her lovely Family for the felt cobweb scarf courses.

Sues first time felted summer fresh bag.....

Morning everyone, welcome to another stunning first time felt makers make and meet Sue the maker.  Sue came into the boutique a couple of months ago on crutches following an injury,  I was in the middle of a course and Sue was very intrigued by what we were doing... so with injury now on the road to recovery it was time for  Sue to have a her very own felted bag.

I have to say Sue I am thrilled with the results, fantastic summer fresh colours just the ticket to brighten up the summer wardrobe.

Orlinda's fantabulous felted bag.....

Morning everyone, well yet another fantastic felt-makers make today.  This is the lovely Orlinda's first felted bag.  Orlinda had been on a couple of previous courses and so had experienced working with felt but had not done a bag before, I love Orlinda's choice of colours and design layout.

Orlinda was one of the lovely ladies on the same course as Sandy from Hawaii (see previous post), the day was a great mix of individuals.
