More fabulous felt Jewellery by Chris and Verity....

Morning lovely makers and creators, my apologies for not blogging for a while but I have been busy with some very exiting developments all of which will be revealed over the next month.

That said more importantly today a belated feature of a recent felt Jewellery course and second time course attendees Chris and Verity.  Chris and Verity are a mum and daughter team who share a passion for creative hobbies, though Verity is a textile student and has already carved a niche for herself with some of her fabulous designs.

I will be sharing some time with Verity in the summer to help with a little work experience and support  Verity's creative journey, I am really looking forward to sharing creative time with someone who is as dedicated and passionate about textiles as I am myself.

A New Direction....

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share some exciting news with you, as you all know I have been attending craft fairs and markets for a number of years now and over the last year and a half... have diversified my range substantially.

I started out with a passion in paper crafts, however a determination to create new an exiting crafts lead me into my search for 100% wool felt pieces. When this became virtually impossible to find I decided to go an get professional taught to make felt myself. I am now almost finished my City and Guilds in Felt-making and..... drum role please I am leaving my paper crafting behind and opening my own felt making boutique. I open on 2nd March 2010 and will have an official launch day at a later date.

I will be posting my progress as I fit the shop out and give you more info on the location.

Daisy Doodles Dotty Seamless Felted Handbag

Hi everyone, I thought today I would show case one of my felted bags, felting is one of my favourite past times and you will see it featured amongst many mediums quite a lot over the coming weeks. This is one of my latest additions to my Folksy store and features my passion for daisies, though daisies are not my only passion when it comes to flowers.

I also wanted to use my blog as a platform for other handmade finds and sellers, so if you have a handmade shop email me details and I may be able to feature your shop along with other finds that month.
