Morning everyone, well the celebrations on Sunday were a great success, we had a fire engine, dance academy. choir, panning for gold, pancake tossing and so much more.
The whole point of the day was to celebrate the centre turning 25 years old and to raise much needed money for Heart Radio's Have a Heart charity. We in the boutique held felt making demonstrations and the children were invited to make finger puppets for a small donation to help raise funds for the charity.
Pictured above are some of the wonderful puppets made by Megan, Anna, Imogen and Isobel on the day... more puppets coming in the next post.
My thanks go out to the very talented guest artist Ian Whittle who ran the workshops throughout the day, the workshops were so successful that Ian barely had time to eat the wonderful chocolate cake dripped in hot chocolate sauce provided by More Cocoa
