Well its only Monday folks and already I am exhausted! Last week was a full on week, finished with a school workshop which was a great success. Saturday was spent tweaking work stuff and yesterday catching up with family. Today its to finish my TAX return... big sigh and then to designing the templates for my next two felting projects. Happy Monday everyone, today I thought I would share something a little different. I don't normally share personal stuff, but I just couldn't resist introducing you to our beloved moggy Sox! She is 9 years old in human years, she is called Sox because she has four white paws like socks... though I wanted a quirkier spelling and she is a rescue cat we have had since she was a very small kitten. It was a long road to getting her settled as she had been living rough and was extremely traumatised. For years she wouldn't sit on our lap and even now she can still get jumpy at strange noises. That said she has become the most incredibly loving cat, always wanting to be close to us all the time, its rare she is very far away. Well time for a round up, its been a busy ol week in the studio, three pairs of slippers felted, 2 pairs stitched and decorated, one handbag base made with decorative detail felted, two handbag handles/cords completed and attached, 3 wet felted pieces of flat felt, needle embellishment applied to bag and decorative embroidery to finish. Just need to apply the feature details to the top of the bag and we are done!! I will be @bespokeinlichfield today all day and topping up my Alice cards and back in the studio tomorrow!! Its all go! So Mrs Von Tweet found Master Von Tweet outside the surf shack again this morning... but this time she was having non of it!
